Francesco Carminati and Alessandro Gatti have founded Cigisped in 1985. They are the currents owners, President and CEO. The Company's mission is to solve the problems related to freight transport.
The family history of the founders has roots in the shipping world for over four generations. The opening of overseas offices ensures a high-quality tailor-made service. These services are at the base of Cigisped's philosophy.
During the Eighties, the Italian yacht building industry boomed. The Italian yachts success in the international markets included the sought-after US market. All this led to the increase in the yacht transport by sea, where Cigisped has carved out a leading place.
The market developments motivated Cigisped to diversify the activities in all transport sectors. The company offers yacht transport, air freight, and integrated logistics.

The headquarters of the Company is physically located in Genoa, Italy. Cigisped is able to guarantee that every shipment will be followed directly, at every stage, thanks also to its international presence.
