Cigisped offers a complete warehousing and distribution service, including security systems and handling all documentation
Cigisped handles warehousing and distribution, making use of many logistical platforms spread across the country and abroad.
The warehousing service, using both covered and uncovered spaces for nationalized or foreign goods, is joined by services for the packing and unpacking of containers, lashing and securing/dunnage of goods, Flat rack, packaging and dunnage of IMO containers for dangerous goods, LCL container consolidation and/or LCL container emptying with eventual sorting and delivery across the country and abroad.
Every warehouse guarantees high-level security and video surveillance systems, and all warehousing operations are overseen by specialized staff who check the characteristics of the product to store every type of goods according to the very highest standards. The warehouses handle the necessary documentation for the loading phase of both foreign and nationalized goods. Upon delivery, documentation of unloading is provided and documentation of transport is compiled.
The warehouses located in major national ports and at the highway crossroads of Northern Italy allow clients to use them as an ideal platform for sorting of imports as well as exports, supported by the operations of the container ports.
Since July 1, 2016, following the SOLAS regulations, the company provides weighing services for VGM containers to Clients who ask it at the warehouses located along the highways leading to the major ports of departure.
Cigisped handles insurance coverage for warehousing and transportation of goods to the warehouse, according to the needs of the Client and the specifications of the goods.
